I am a policy advisor at the Dutch Ministry of Health. In my work, I coordinate legislative changes, focusing on data and information exchange for infectious disease control and surveillance. I also work on infectious disease modelling and innovation for pandemic preparedness.
Trained as an organizational sociologist and raised as infectious disease modeller, I combine insights from social science and infectious disease epidemiology. I now apply these transdisciplinary insights into policy and law.
